Cobra First Aid Trainer / Assessors

The Head Trainer is Andrew Morrell. First qualifying with St John Ambulance in 1990 Andrew then spent 19 years

teaching as a St John Ambulance Statutory (FAW) Trainer/Assessor.

In 2009 Andrew moved on and formed Cobra First Aid as a part of the Cobra Martial Arts Association (CMAA).

The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981

Following the recommendations contained in the 2012 Lofstedt report the HSE withdrew approval/accreditation to

First Aid training providers on the 1st October 2013. In addition the first-aid Approved Code of Practice was withdrawn.

Since then it has been advised that persons requiring First Aid training assess their needs ahead of booking a course.
